The guide seeks to support coeducational development in schools so that students can grow up in a respectful environment free of gender stereotypes.
It has been developed jointly by the main representatives of the educational world as well as all the members of the State School Council.
The guide is based on the specification of 3 learning ecosystems (formal, informal and community) that facilitate the checking of the actions being carried out by educational centers to help achieve gender equality. In addition, it addresses intersectionality, overcoming stereotypes, affective-sexual education, prevention of gender violence, co-responsibility in care and respect for diversity.
It also includes good practices carried out in educational centers that have been considered inspiring for other centers that want to work on coeducation.
